A warm welcome!
West Down Orchard is a friendly, family-run business set in the heart of Somerset; the park is set in a 12-acre orchard with stunning views of the countryside. If you’re looking for rest and relaxation, this is the spot! Families are welcome and we’re pet friendly.
We’re open all year round and offer both hard-standing and grass pitches on level ground. Also available are several static holiday homes. We have large, modern, separate male & female toilet & shower facilities, a laundrette, an on-site shop, bike hire and more.
Touring and Camping
Our touring park has level hard-standing and grass pitches with open views across the Somerset countryside. Each is within easy reach of the facilities on site and of course local village shops.
We offer generous, level pitches to suit all types of caravans, motor homes and tents. Our grass areas drain very well even in heavy rain, making this the perfect spot no matter the weather.

Dinosaurland Fossil Museum
Dinosaurland Fossil Museum is a private museum which is owned and run by Palaeontologist Steve Davies and his wife Jenny. The museum contains a spectacular collection of the local Jurassic marine fossils. The collection grows each year and is now probably the best fossil collection on public display in SW England.
It is a traditional museum using the beauty and majesty of more than 12,000 specimens to show people just how exciting and wonderful the world of fossils and dinosaurs really is.
